April Thomas HIP HOP CLASS SCHEDULE April Thomas, a native of South Carolina, arrived in Los Angeles to dance with the Lula Washington Dance Theatre and to pursue a career in Hollywood. April began her formal training at Howard University where she received a B.F.A. in Theatre Arts/ Dance with honors. She received a scholarship to study at the American Dance Festival and has interned with several prominent dance companies including David Rousseve/ Reality, Ronald K. Brown/ EVIDENCE, and Garth Fagan Dance Company. She has landed dancing roles on "That's So Raven," BET's Comic View, and The NFL Show on FOX. Her choreographic credits include "Testing," an excerpt of the urban musical "Ephraim's Song" produced by Bruce Willis and Cedric the Entertainer and the film "Watermelon Heist." She has also performed with recording artists Usher, Snoop Dogg and Destiny's Child. return to top |
