Katie Orr was born and raised in L.A yet has danced worldwide with major artist and groups such as Lady GaGa, Missy Elliott, Tina Turner, Bette Midler, MC Hammer, Amerie, John Legend and the Groovaloos. Katie started dancing when she was 3yrs. old, and trained in every dance style that “she could get her hands on!” She is a consummate performer, teacher and sought after assistant to many important choreographers. She loves exploring movement and music. Seeing how others grow in their artistry and helping each student pursue their potential is “fuel for her Happiness”. Dance Arts Academy is pleased to have Katie join the teaching faculty. She will be focusing on Youth and Teen Hip-Hop. Katie says that she is “Glad to be part of the team!”
