classes with Carla Luna DOWNLOAD FLIER CARLA LUNA BIOGRAPHY Upcoming Workshop with guest artist Timo Lozano - special bulerias workshop Timo Lozano BULERIAS INTENSIVE May 11th to 15th DOWNLOAD FLIER Timo has danced with some of the best known Spanish dance companies in Spain and the United States. With Jose Greco and Maria Benitez in the U.S.A. and with the Maria Rosa and Raphael De Cordoba dance companies in Spain. He has also performed in theaters around the world and alongside such renowned dancers as Matilde Coral, Raphael el Negro, Angelita Vargas, Carmen Mora, Eva la Yerbabuena and Sara Baras. He wrote the screenplay, choreographed and acted in the movie ALMA GITANA and appears with Eva Yerbabuena and Sara Baras in the Flamenco film FLAMENCO WOMEN. A sought after teacher of bulerias and cajon, Timo has taught for 10 years at the internationally known flamenco school AMOR DE DIOS in Madrid and has done workshops in 13 countries and 22 cities. Lozano has a unique method for teaching bulerias, which is by playing the cajon and building an immediate sense of inner compas for students of all levels. This technique is now being used by flamenco teachers worldwide. Timo also gives cajon workshops, helpful to musicians as well as dancers. They help musicians understand what the dancer needs to hear in the rhythm, while also giving the dancer a stronger feeling for compas.
