Directions to the studio  parking From downtown L.A.: take the 10 Freeway Westbound, exit La Brea and go north. The academy is on La Brea between 8th Street and Wilshire, on the west side of the street. From Santa Monica: take the 10 Freeway Eastbound, exit La Brea and go north. The academy is on La Brea between 8th Street and Wilshire, west side of the street. From the Valley: take the 101 Freeway toward Hollywood, exit on Highland and continue south to Wilshire Boulevard. Turn right on Wilshire and left on La Brea. The academy is one half block south of Wilshire on the west side of the street. From the South Bay: take the 405 North to the 10 East, exit La Brea and go north. The academy is on La Brea between 8th Street and Wilshire, west side of the street. From Beverly Hills: go east on Wilshire Boulevard to La Brea and turn right. The academy is one half block south of Wilshire on the west side of the street. PARKING: 1. Parking lot at Detroit and Wilshire (north-east corner) 2 hour metered parking at 50¢ an hour till 10:00pm. 2. Ample free 2 hour street parking on 8th street or Detroit (just behind the academy) till 6:00pm. Check parking signs for evening restrictions. 3. 2 hour metered parking on La Brea from 9:00am to 4:00pm Mon-Fri. NO LA BREA PARKING BETWEEN 4:00 and 7:00pm. Free parking on La Brea and on Wilshire after 7:00pm on week days and Sundays. 4. Bank of America parking (next door to academy) free some evenings Mon thru Sat if no attendant is present. Otherwise charge is $2.50. Sunday free all day. return to top
